Sophie Carmichael
Ever the drama queen, even at a young age, Sophie loved pretending that she was ‘off on an adventure’ from home, only to ring the doorbell a few seconds later and expect her long-suffering parents to take up various character roles to make her adventure experience extraordinary and original. When she turned 18, it was decided enough was enough, and it was time she went off to study drama at Exeter University.
Having grafted hard for her degree, Sophie then decided to go off and ski in France, help injured penguins in South Africa (she has scars), read to children in Laos, do some acting….and then settled down to the serious business of playing games all day/working for Bigfoot.
Alongside her creative residencies, she loves the anti-bullying programmes, occasionally dressing up as a villainous witch for Jack’s Amazing Adventure, and bringing out her inner cool dude for Rapspere (who knew?). The highlight of her Bigfoot career, though, has to be delivering Creative Achievers, as there is nothing quite like seeing young people feel proud of who they are, and what they’re capable of.
For me being a Bigfoot Advocate is a no-brainer! I love what we do and I believe in what we do! So sing it loud and proud!
