Lizzie Clancy

Lizzie came to Bigfoot from the ‘Central School of Speech & Drama’ in 2004 as a work experience placement student and joined the company ‘for real’ in 2005.

Lizzie’s previous experience has stood her in good stead as a manager for Bigfoot, from assistant director and choreographer for numerous amateur productions to co-coordinating drama projects with young adults for Notting Hill Homeless concern, as well as facilitating work with street children and university students in Ecuador.

Despite a hankering desire to be the next star presenter of Blue Peter, Lizzie has always had a strong passion for drama in education. However, having witnessed the daily struggles of teaching in both Primary and Secondary schools from her mum, sister and close friends, she decided a PGCE wasn’t for her. Instead, she sought an alternative creative approach to arts education and now has a major responsibility within Bigfoot to maintain the effectiveness of all of artistic programmes as Programme Manager.
