Ben Neale
Since Ben’s early roles as a rabbit, skelington (sic) and Mrs Bucket, Ben has toured the world’s arts Festivals from Melbourne to Bogota, kissed Billie Piper on the West End stage (it was in the script), appeared on the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 & the History Channel and performed to more children than any statistic could give impact to!
But behind the stage make-up, was he always a workshop facilitator in disguise? Having graduated in English and Theatre Studies from the University of Warwick, Ben formed and ran his own theatre company creating work for young adults and designing and delivering workshops in theatres, secondary schools, community centres and residential housing for socially excluded young people.
Ben now has 13 years’ experience of theatre, workshop leading, storytelling, improvisation, film, interactive performance, installation, Live Art and creative approaches to learning. He has been thoroughly enjoying working with Bigfoot since 2011 delivering a range of programmes – including designing and facilitating the thrilling Mantle of the Expert days – and is proud to be one of Bigfoot’s Advocates.
I'm extremely proud of what Bigfoot do so talking about it to schools comes naturally!
‘It was an absolutely fantastic day which the children thoroughly enjoyed. Please pass on to him how pleased we were with the day’
‘We just wanted to write and say a HUGE thank you for this morning’s session. Ben was absolutely brilliant and the students said they had an ‘awesome time’. The workshop, from beginning to end, was creative and engaging and the students got a huge amount from it. I wouldn’t hesitate to use your company again. We were all really impressed.’
