 Go Mantle Days

Put the text books down, let's learn something new today!

Following on from the renowned work of the late Dr Dorothy Heathcote, Mantle Days are an accessible way for student's to experience the power of 'Mantle of the Expert'. Schools can choose from a wide range of topics (See content) to explore the curriculum, whereby pupils become members of a company, whose job it is to fulfil a brief for a fictitious client.

Children embark on an experiential journey of the imagination where they work together to take charge of their world and overcome challenges in order to find a solution for their client. Mantle engages children on many different levels and for a whole day, children will find this way of working extremely memorable and exciting.

Bigfoot have written numerous workshop plans to support every aspect of the curriculum by injecting bundles of creativity into them, even Maths! We can work with any number of classes throughout the day, so can offer short bursts of creative lessons for several classes or a whole days worth of work for a single class group, depending upon your specific needs.
