Bigfoot commissioned by N.E Lincs to deliver teenage psychosis programme

Bigfoot has been commissioned by North East Lincolnshire to work across a range of Secondary schools to help explore the issues around teenage psychosis.

Bigfoot have written a programe of workshops and teacher resources to help students explore mental health issues that may affect them and others around them.

The programme explores emotions, what is mental health and illness, understanding different mental health issues, the role of alcohol and drugs in mental health issues, understanding psychosis, perceptions of mental health, misconceptions and stigma, awareness and signs, promoting a positive prognosis and how to look after your own mental health.

All the work is delivered using tried and tested forum theatre techniques and specially tailored drama exercises.

We intend to work across 5 schools to start with then look to work in more across the year.
